Summer jobs are beginning to appear on the market. Umeå region's fire department is seeking both regular summer workers and future fire engineers. Within service and retail, opportunities include Circle K as store sales staff, warehouse workers for Varsego and Mediq, and serving staff for Sjöbris and Köksbaren. Cervera is also seeking extra staff.

The municipality is also recruiting officers for environmental planning, field workers for the Nature Conservation Unit, fee administrators, sports facility workers for Nolia, and a unit manager for Digital Transformation and IT.

For those seeking assignments outside traditional employment, there are opportunities as trustees for adults in the Umeå region or contact persons for children, youth, and adults with disabilities.

Application deadlines vary between late February and well into autumn, but several summer jobs have application deadlines in early March.
