A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of assault and aggravated unlawful threat against a woman he knew previously.
Police apprehended the man at a residential address in Umeå on Tuesday morning. Following interrogation, the prosecutor decided the man should be detained.
The man is suspected of having assaulted and threatened the woman. Police have filed a report and the investigation continues.
