Umeå's music scene gets a new hub when Stage opens on Friday, February 28. The new cultural venue celebrates the opening with a full evening of live music and club spanning multiple genres.
The evening begins with HALM, serving americana and country rock. Then Umes Tyngsta Boyband takes over with energetic boom bap hip-hop. The finale features DJ Samir & MC Friman, with a mix of drum & bass and freestyle rap.
The opening marks an important addition to Umeå's cultural life, where local and national artists get a new platform. Stage aims to become a meeting place for different music styles and audiences.
